What would the world be like without books???

 


There is a frequently asked question;What would the would be without books?The very question is abusrd and depressing.It is always said that the latest technology signals the demise of the book.Decades ago,it was thought that the radio would replace books.This fear has persisted throughtout with the inventions of television and internet.

A wise man  says;

Books are the only one source of the peace in the world.
Books are themselves a form of technology that is spread  over the pages and makes us delve into the complexities of life.

Books are a source of comfort of us.they are safe shelters.Throughout human histroy man has found peace in the written works.Books are bridges through their pages we make our contact with society.Those who read more are better prepared to face the world than those who do not read.

Why people don't find peace,

From the pages of the books. 

 


It is important that we work to give every person the opportunity to enjoy books as shelters,sustenance,and road forward.To imagine a world without books is to imagine the world without thoughts,feelings,compassion,history or voice.

The alarming and incessant growth of population is causing a serious ecomic  problemsin almost all continents.Great pressure is being placed on arable land,water,energy and biological resources. As the world population being grow,the food problem will become increasingly severe. The most vulnerable will be population in developing countries.The pe capita availablitity of food grains has been declining for the past 25 years.Certainly with a quarter milion people being added to the world population each day,the need for grains and all other food will reach unprorcedented levels.
